MASS HYSTERIA!!! 6th, 7th, and 8th graders: MARK YOUR CALENDARS!! Mass Hysteria is coming to us this year June 17-20. Do you find Mass boring? Confusing? Do you just want to have fun this summer? Join us for 4 days from 8:00-11:30 am for Mass, breakfast, music, games, and see the Mass come alive before your very eyes. This year's theme, Heroic Sacrifice, will take us on an epic journey as we soar to heroic heights of the Mass. Mass Hysteria Volunteers!!! Love the Mass? Want to have fun? Need some service hours? Calling ALL ADULTS AND TEENS - We Need YOU in order for Mass Hysteria to be awesome. Commitment is June 17-20 from 7:45-11:45 am and one meeting prior. Share your love for the Mass with our 6th, 7th and 8th graders (and fall more in love with it yourself) while having a lot of fun alongside other amazing volunteers like yourself. Student Volunteers Needed at Catholic Kidz Camp Student volunteer applications are available online at saintv.org, or paper applications are available at the Information Center in the Gathering Space. Students in grades 6, 7, 8 through high school who are interested in volunteering the week of June 10-14, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, should apply by May 25. Paper applications can be turned in through the RE, Church, or School offices, or by dropping in the “Catholic Kidz Camp” box in the church Gathering Space. Students will be chosen based on their application and will be notified of their acceptance. Contact Ashley with questions at [email protected].
Beginning Sunday, May 19, and continuing throughout the summer, there will be NO 12:45 pm Mass. The 12:45 Mass time will resume on Sunday, October 6.
HOMESCHOOL TEA PARTIES ~A very cordial invitation for homeschool parent-teachers and their children to attend a “Tea Time Out.” Please come and join us for a social with tea and light refreshments. Hostess will provide a variety of tea bag selections, paper products and some games to play. If you are able to join us, please bring some kind of tea and a treat or snack to share. ONE EUCHARISTIC REFLECTION LEFT! There is only one reflection time remaining for Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, to the Homebound, Lectors and Sacristans. Please join us on Tuesday evening, May 14, at 7:00 pm in the Spiritual Center for the final session of the season. The Diocese requires that Extraordinary Ministers attend at least one Reflection each year in order to continue their ministry. If you are unable to attend this reflection, there will most likely be a diocesan sponsored reflection that we can forward to you. Any person who fails to attend a reflection may not be scheduled.
CONFIRMATION AT ST. VINCENT’S Bishop Kevin Rhoades will be at St. Vincent’s to confer the sacrament of Confirmation on Sunday, May 12, at 2:00 pm (there is no 12:45 pm Mass that day). This Mass does fulfill your Sunday obligation for May 12. You are welcome to attend in this joyous occasion for our students who will be confirmed.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL ST. VINCENT CEMETERY CLEANUP We will be conducting our Annual Cemetery Cleanup from May 13 to May 27. All decorations must be removed no later than Sunday, May 12, or they may be discarded. You may begin to place approved decorations beginning Tuesday, May 28.
MOTHER’S DAY RESPECT LIFE CARNATION SALE The St. Vincent Respect Life Committee will again be offering carnations after all the Masses the weekend of Mother’s Day, May 11 and 12 for a donation. All contributions help fund the good work of the Allen County Right to Life. Thank you for your assistance in the effort to speak for human life from conception to natural death. COR JESU: HEART OF JESUS Young adults of all ages and states in life from all surrounding Fort Wayne areas are invited to Cor Jesu (Latin for Heart of Jesus), which is held every Wednesday, at St. John the Baptist Parish on Fairfield Ave. The night begins at 6:30 pm with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament along with the opportunity for the Sacrament of Confession. Benediction is held at 7:20 pm with Holy Mass following at 7:30 pm. We have different priests every Wednesday and a small gathering at the end of Mass. All are invited!
